Ludacris- Chicken and Beer

Rating: 6.5 out of 10



A strange album. It somehow contains some of his best, and most ambitious flows. However, in so many spots it just appears that Ludacris is all tapped out. It makes for an uncomfortable, and rather uneven experience. But the moments of raw talent outweigh the bad, so if you are a fan, I would still pick this one up.


The Strokes- Room on Fire

Rating: 7.4 out 10



Such a fun listen. It's just filled to the brim with wonderful hooks and melodies that you'll find yourself humming for hours afterward. Granted, it doesn't sound as fresh as Is This It, which is a bit troubling-but was ITI really that fresh to begin with, when you really think about it? Oh well, another discussion. In any case, this album is nothing extraordinary, but is undeniably enjoyable from strat to finish.
